Mark has an approach to understanding business that is proven by his ability to turn around under-performing teams and make them work. Leading from behind, rather than beating the drum from the front is what Mark has been respected for. He enjoyed a highly successful career as a Chemical Engineer (oil & gas) before completing an MBA and turning his hand to manufacturing, waste management and environmental recycling.
Mark enjoyed a highly successful career with a multi-national oil and gas organisation concluding his career as a plant-commissioning engineer responsible for the management of a multimillion-dollar site. He transferred his skills into the management of people in the field of waste products and recycling, responsible for a workforce in excess of 100 people over five sites. Mark gained a reputation for bringing the best out of his people on all occasions, including negotiating with third party organisations. Mark has a particular interest in business review and improvement and sustainable environmental business practices.
Mark lives with his young family in Adelaide and is the keenest fisherman you are likely to meet. Nothing pleases him more than a day in the boat with family and friends rounded off by an evening discussing the merits of South Australian wine.
