Short Brief:

John has spent much of his life in leadership roles both inside the Australian Defence Force where he has lead soldiers from many countries on various operational and
training activities around the world and as the Managing Director of a company focused on building strong and effective teams in the private sector through the application of challenging events.  With John's many years leading small teams within Australia's
Special Forces he has developed an acute understanding of people and how best to support them in achieving their full potential.

John was the Senior Instructor at the Army's Middle Management education facility at Canungra. Here he instructed on command, leadership and management for middle managers aspiring to higher promotion. As a qualified Training Development Officer he was directly involved in the redevelopment of the Continuum of Officer Training for Army and personally drove the redevelopment of the leadership module. John has extensive senior level international experience. As a Senior Manager and Director in two Global Primes, as an exchange officer serving with the British Army in Germany, the Canadian Army in Canada and as the Force Commanders representative in United Nations Headquarters in New York.  John has been very influential in the leadership, management and training of staff in a wide variety of situations.  The application of his finely tuned people skills has ensured that the focus remained on quality people, well prepared and suited to the role for which they were identified.

John is passionate about people and presenting opportunities for them to grow and achieve their full potential in a safe, challenging but fulfilling environment.

John is a Master Project Director, holds a Masters of Business Administration, and Graduate Diplomas in Management and Defence studies. He has significant training and experience in Risk Management and has through the nature of his work applied this effectively and extensively in the workplace.
