Transocean Deepwater Frontier, Singapore

The BTB Induction Production team filmed in the waters off Singapore in preparation for the Deepwater Frontier operating in the waters of northern Western Australia for the Gorgon/Jansz LNG project. The largest investment currently undertaken in Australia.

The weather was challenging and the rain certainly added an extra dimension to the task but as Sacha Alagich, BTB’ s Induction Production Head stated, ‘The weather, the conditions and the location are all just part of the job. We’ve learnt what it takes to deliver a great message and working with the many characters we meet along the way makes it all worthwhile’.

The message for those working on the Deepwater Frontier is quite straightforward, nothing comes before safety. All operations within Australian waters must abide by Commonwealth of Australia legislation and the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority (NOPSA).
